With her husband Jean-Paul, you will be welcomed, in their charming and very sunny flat in the Auteuil district in the 16th arrondissement, with its modern and vintage furniture. You will have your own bedroom and will share the bathroom. Come alone, or with your partner or friend to the French Capitale– Paris.

You will be able to move easily thanks to the metro station located a 5 minute walk from the apartment and the bus stop a mere 1 minute walk.

During your French immersion in Paris, you will be provided with 20 personalized French lessons; more are available if desired. Claude will take you to all the beautiful sights in the tourist capital, famous for the Louvre Museum, Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral, Saint-Pierre Basilica and also some special places that mostly Parisian’s don’t know.

YOUR HOME STAY FRENCH IMMERSION IN PARIS

Everything is flexible, depending on your tastes and needs. Claude will provide you with personalized French courses adapted to your level and particular expectations by using preferred methods.

Accustomed to preparing, writing and jurying entrance exams, Claude will allow you to practice the best. With Jean-Paul, editor, writer and newspaper creator, they will do their best to make your stay enjoyable and productive.

In Paris you will find all the services you will need, while enjoying the tranquility of the Auteuil district and its typical Parisian architecture.

We will prepare healthy cooking, based on vegetables and fresh produce brought back from a Normandy farm where we have a secondary home. We are non-smokers, but you may smoke outside on the balcony.

LEARNING FRENCH

I am a native of France and a graduate French teacher with more than 30 years experience in welcoming students into our home. Having taught French for more than 40 years, I have great experience in a variety of teaching methods.

I can prepare specific courses on request including vocabulary of diplomacy, business French, fashion, or orthography seminars.

You will have French classes in our comfortable living room, or in the bedroom for young students. With only one or two students, depending on whether you come alone or with another person, I will adapt the course to meet your specific objectives.

ACTIVITIES

Discover the most beautiful sites of Paris with your teacher as your guide. She will help you discover the French capital and its rich culture and historic monuments and museums! You will discover the main features such as the Champs Elysees and the Eiffel Tower…and some secret places that even most Parisians don’t know about! You will also enjoy the French way of life while relaxing.
During your stay with your teacher, you will take advantage of many cultural activities and also shopping avenue Montaigne!
