Pascal, your host, will only be your teacher but also your tour guide because he knows the region perfectly, is an amateur historian, and is passionate about his environment.

The accommodation available to you is located inside a vast property, an actual 18th century Post House. You will enjoy a large room, a private bathroom and many living areas conducive to learning . Located in the heart of the village, it is easy to walk in nature, as well to access the beaches of the oceanic coast or the banks of the Loire.

LEARNING FRENCH

We will start with a precise diagnostic assessment of your true level in order to propose a program to continue your progression, and adapted to your learning pace. After that, I will be attentive throughout your stay to modify the curriculum (if necessary) in order to adapt in real time to ensure your continued progression.This provides a personalized program that builds on shared experiences, and precise corrections to optimize your learning and bind your knowledge with memories through experiences.

The French courses take place either in the living room, on the terrace, or in the garden if the weather allows, every morning and sometimes standing in the afternoon. We will vary the instruction, activities, and practices in order to develop your oral and written skills, comprehension, listening, argumentation, as well as grammar, conjugation, vocabulary – all for one sole purpose: To be confident in your language skills and express yourself easily.
 

ACTIVITIES

The small town of Vue is equidistant from the two flagship cities of my region: Nantes and Saint-Nazaire, as well as beaches and banks of the Loire river. This will allow us to make varied visits while enjoying different landscapes.

Saint-Nazaire is the industrial city, site of the cruise-ship construction and home of Airbus. It is also an active port that was at the heart of the defensive system of the Atlantic Wall. One can visit the most emblematic points but also enjoy its rich cultural events.

The beaches are less than 30 minutes from home, covering a spectrum which extends across the Atlantic arc of the Loire estuary to the island of Noirmoutiers, at the gates of the Vendée. Scenic views and the chance to taste fresh seafood have made the Bay of Bourgneuf and the Jade Coast famous.

And then, the pays de Retz, where the community is located, is a territory at high environmental quality which offers you beautiful surprises, between hikes and cycling courses. Local flavors are also be in the spotlight with the delights of the milling, the cheese specialties of the Curé Nantais, the Saint Michel cookie shop and the famous regional viticulture and its renowned muscadet.
