Marans is a quiet little town in Nouvelle Aquitaine. It is crossed by a river, as well as many canals and is located on the edge of a region known for its green tourism: the Green Venice.

Florence will welcome you at home in the heart of the city in a quiet and pleasant area. After many trips around the world, this is where she took root about ten years ago.

A side linked to civilization as her house faces the port of sailing boats, but also a wilder side since she also has a large orchard that gives the impression of being in the countryside.

A short distance from the sea, La Rochelle and its islands, the beaches of Vendée and close to the Marais Poitevin, leisure activities to satisfy all tastes.

YOUR HOME STAY FRENCH IMMERSION IN MARANS

I have been a French teacher in Kuwait, Spain and France for 30 years. I have experienced immersion which I find very effective in making rapid progress in learning a foreign language. Polyglot, I will be able to adapt to your needs and help you.

I offer you every morning dynamic French classes, often with music, as well as online exercises. We will then go to meet and exchange with the inhabitants of Marans or the surrounding area.

Fine cook, I will introduce you to French cuisine prepared with fresh and local products. You will enjoy breakfasts and meals in the garden or at home, in a friendly and family atmosphere.

For your accommodation: an oriental camp brought back from a long stay in Kuwait, a hippie camp inspired by my childhood holiday in the Ile de Ré and a marine space made up of a sailboat stranded in the middle of the vineyards.

For you, a comfortable stay in Nature, quiet in very atypical accommodations, in contact with the locals, certainly the right recipe to discover the language and part of the French culture.

I would like to introduce you to my region and its beautiful landscapes in various ways: on foot, by bike or canoe and by car for the greatest distances: La Rochelle, the Marais Poitevin, the beaches of Vendée, etc.

I am on my free time, artfelter and will be delighted to share with you this hobby by making together during a workshop an object of decoration or a fashion accessory.
